The Making of Little Lover

I am so god damn proud of what we created with the Little Lover music video. This was a labour of love for so many talented people, as you will see in this behind the scenes look. This is my very first solo music video, and represents a massive victory over the resistance that plagued me for most of my life. Now, my music is out there. Take that resistance!

Guau. This video clip has left me mute. His voice caresses you and spiders. The background piano almost marks your breath.

The painting that is rubbed represents so well the need and desire to form that unique being with that other person. To allow oneself to be painted here means to let oneself melt, give permission to destruction, to feel in all its stimulating sense. Let yourself be invaded, poisoned and lost. (Do you know how suicidal that is?)

The rain that appears and wets everything represents the total rapport, complicity and desire to have and to satisfy each other. Is there something that connects people more than water?

The petals at the end of the dance represent the inevitable fact of breaking, destroying a flower and taking out all its juice until it is exhausted, dried and finally disintegrated.
Death of love. Our most natural death as beings that are needed, demanded and satiated.

    Animal fear. Genetic survival.
